Reishi mushroom has been used to support immunity for thousands of years.
There are three ways to use Reishi.
- A hot water extract (otherwise known as a long-steep tea)
- A dried powder that can be concentrated by removing some of the cellulose.
- An alcohol or glycerin tincture
We now have dried mushroom available to make “Immune-Ah-tea.” In about 10 days, we’ll have Multi Mushroom Immune Support (MMIS) capsules, combining Reishi with Shiitake, Chaga, Cordyceps and beta Glucans from rice bran. Come back to this website for up-to-the-minute information and insights from Stephen Cherniske and Dr Natalie Kather.
Instructions for making Immune-Ah-Tea included.
Q: How much do I need?
A: If you use a 3 quart crock pot, 4 ounces of Reishi will make 8 pots of tea. Since you will add water while you are drinking, each pot will provide 2 cups of tea for two people for at least three days. Thus, 4 ounces of dried Reishi will make enough Immun-Ah-Tea for 2 people for 24 days.
